Adaptive Climbing Day

We gathered on August 10, 2019 for our first Adaptive Climbing Day! This event was just the start of the programs for the adaptive community that are to come to The Front Ogden. Stay tuned for more details on that!

Adaptive Climbing Day was designed best for those with: neurological/physical disabilities, upper extremity amputees and lower extremity amputees.

Meet the Instructors

Chris Call

Chris has been coaching climbers professionally for more than 10 years. Through his career in the medical field he became exposed to the adaptive population, and immediately sought a way to make climbing and training for climbing more accessible to those who might be interested.

Chris partnered with The Front SLC to create a formal training and learning program, including workshops, personal training, and training camps. Now he’s bringing his knowledge and skills to Ogden!

Brenna King

Brenna is one of our youth team coaches! She loves working with children and helping others find their passions. Brenna grew up in Orem, Utah and moved to Ogden to run the 400 Hurdles for Weber State where she is currently earning her degree in Outdoor Recreation Education. She’s in love with Utah and all of the amazing outdoor opportunities including canyoneering, backpacking, skiing, and of course climbing! Brenna intends to share her love of climbing by encouraging self improvement, hard work, and most importantly—PASSION!
