The sky was blue. The sun was scorching. Car thermometers sprouted into the 90s. But the heat did not stop our dedicated members from showing up with smiling faces to the Ogden Trails Network (OTN) August Trail Dig!
During this month’s dig, we worked out of the 22nd Street trailhead, focusing our efforts between the Schoolroom Wall and Rainbow Gardens. Thanks to all the volunteers, we were able to make the trail more user-friendly by delimbing overgrown trees and trimming brush!
We’re stoked to have given back to the local environment we use so often! Hopefully now our boulder pads won’t get caught on trees as we head toward our projects!
The OTN trail digs are hosted on the third Tuesday of each month during the summer. To get involved, ask the front desk for more information or keep an eye out for future dig announcements on our website and social media. In the meantime, enjoy these images from this month’s dig!
